Author Guidelines
These guidelines apply to all submissions to the Journal of Mathematics. Manuscripts that do not follow them may be returned before review.
Types of contribution

Preparing the manuscript
- Submit in LaTeX (preferred) or Microsoft Word. For LaTeX, supply the source file together with a compiled PDF and any custom style or bibliography files.
- Use A4 or Letter, single spacing, 12-point body text, and number all pages and lines.
- Structure the paper as: title, abstract, keywords, MSC classification, introduction, preliminaries, main results, discussion or conclusion, acknowledgements, declarations, references.
- The abstract should be a single unstructured paragraph of 150 to 250 words with no citations, displayed formulae or undefined symbols.
- Supply four to six keywords and at least one 2020 Mathematics Subject Classification code.
- Number theorems, lemmas, propositions, definitions, remarks and equations consecutively, and cross-reference them by number rather than by position.
- Place figures and tables at their intended position with a caption below each figure and above each table. Line art should be vector format; raster images should be at least 300 dpi.
Anonymising for double-blind review
Because review is double-blind, the manuscript file must contain no author names, affiliations, email addresses, funding details, acknowledgements or institutional identifiers. Refer to your own earlier work in the third person and remove identifying metadata from the file properties. Author details are entered separately in the submission system.
References
Cite in the style of the American Mathematical Society, alphabetically by author surname, with numbered entries referenced as [3] in the text. Include a DOI for every reference that has one. Cite only works that are relevant and that you have consulted, and do not pad the reference list with citations to this journal.
Declarations required at submission
- A statement of any competing financial or non-financial interests, or a statement that there are none.
- All sources of funding, with grant numbers.
- A data and code availability statement for any paper containing numerical experiments.
- A declaration of any use of generative AI, as set out in the AI policy.
- Confirmation that the work is original, unpublished and not under consideration elsewhere.
Submission and after
Submissions are made online after registering an account. Authors receive an acknowledgement within three working days and can follow progress through their dashboard. Accepted papers are copy-edited and typeset, and authors receive proofs for approval; only typographical corrections can be made at proof stage. See the Peer Review Policy for indicative timelines.
