A Fixed-Point Approach to Nonlinear Volterra Integral Equations

Abstract

Using contraction and monotone-iterative fixed-point techniques in weighted function spaces, we prove existence and uniqueness of solutions for a class of nonlinear Volterra integral equations, together with continuous dependence on the data and numerical illustrations.
